I’m not going to lie. When I first saw the thumbnail image for this video I thought it was another video showcasing a “fake” find. Or at the least, it was a photoshopped image of a man holding a massive quartz crystal.

I mean…that crystal is unrealistically huge, right? Wrong. The picture is real and the video is real. The man holding the gigantic quartz crystal is Bryan Major, also known as The Crystal Collector. It’s mind blowing to watch Bryan pull out of the ground not one, but multiple massive quartz crystals that are in excellent condition and clarity.

Who Is The Crystal Collector?

Bryan Major is the creator, owner, and host of the YouTube channel called The Crystal Collector. Bryan’s been in the crystal collecting business for almost two decades. His passion is traveling across the United States via an RV in search of amazing rocks, gems, minerals, and fossils with his canine digging buddy and co-host named Matrix. And after watching a few of his videos, you’ll quickly realize that Bryan is the real deal, and his zest and enthusiasm for rockhounding is absolutely contageous. In addition to his Youtube channel, he also has a website that you can visit here.

Where Did The Crystals Come From?

The crystal digging was in an area owned by Avant Mining out of Mt. Ida, Arkansas. Avant Mining is the largest quartz crystal mining company in the world with 23 mines and over 12,000 acres of land. They’re known for producing some of the best crystals in the world when it comes to quality, size and clarity.
