I’ve had my eye on this Rock On Geology Game ever since my daughter has taken up a huge interest in collecting rocks. And I can say without a doubt this is a great rock collecting and rock identification game for kids.  If you have young rock hounds in your family, I highly recommend the Rock On Geology Game.

About The Rock On Geology Game 

The Rock On Geology Game is an American made product which includes a rock and mineral collection consisting of 18 specimens.  In addition to the rock and mineral collection, it also includes over 40 polished rocks that you can use as markers for the game.

It includes the player cards, a rock guide and 18 educational rock call cards. The cards are full of fun and interesting educational facts from simple vocabulary to plate tectonics to ecology.

The Rock On Geology Game includes five levels of play for up to six players.  It comes enclosed in a carrying case and an easy-grip-handle. It’s easy to take with you on trips or even just for easy storage.


What Kind Of Rocks and Minerals Are Included in the Rock On Geology Game?

There is quite a variety of rocks and minerals included in the game.  There is basalt, aventurine, rhodonite, septarian, rose quartz, red jasper, sandstone, yellow jasper, amazonite, orange calcite, selenite rose gray granite, unakite, amethyst, labradorite, petrified wood, green opal, and sodalite. All 3 types classes of rock, igneous, sedimentary and metamorphic are represented in the game for kids to identify.

This game is essentially like bingo, except you use the polished rocks that are included as the bingo card markers.
